H2020 Info Session

With nearly EUR 80 billion in funding available over seven years (2014 to 2020), Horizon 2020 (H2020) is the EU’s biggest-ever research and innovation programme. It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by providing opportunities for the development of new applications for use with Copernicus, EGNOS and Galileo across different market segments. The E-GNSS and Copernicus applications are part of the programme’s Space theme, which has synergies with a number of topics falling under the programme’s Societal Challenges theme, including transportation, maritime, agriculture, energy and climate change.

The fourth call for Applications in Satellite Navigation – Galileo and Copernicus Evolution opens on 16th October 2018. The deadline for project submissions will be in March 2019. The fourth call addresses the development of applications in Satellite Navigation (Galileo and EGNOS enabled apps) and raising awareness about E-GNSS. The call includes four topics, each of which aims to support innovative applications, products, feasibility studies and market tests that can have a substantial impact on European innovation, know-how and the economy.

This H2020 info session is an opportunity to learn more about the rules of participation, along with lessons learned and success stories shared by current beneficiaries. The session is also an excellent opportunity to network with potential project partners.
