After almost 25 years since its creation, Copernicus is a worldwide recognised Earth observation programme serving hundreds of thousands of its users. This first session will focus on the latest achievements and success stories highlighting the key evolution of the Copernicus services over the last year while also taking a deep dive into how the EU is using these services to achieve major policy goals, such as the Green Deal and Digital Transformation.
This second part of Copernicus status session gives a glimpse onto the future of the system.
Copernicus will continue to develop in order to remain the first choice for policy users, scientists and companies for operational and highest quality Earth Observation products.
This encompasses for instance new ways of running satellites in constellations and new developments to serve emerging and demanding user communities.
