Danny Vandenbroucke is Research Manager at KU Leuven, Spatial Applications Division Leuven (SADL). He is active member of the Copernicus Academy and was the Scientific and Technical coordinator of the EO4GEO Erasmus+ Blueprint for the space/geoinformation sector. In that context he was the main author of the Space / Geoinformation Sector Skills Strategy. Currently he is helping to set-up the Large-scale Partnership for skills for the the space sector dedicated to data, services and applications, SPACE4GEO. Danny Vandenbroucke was involved in the pilot study on Space Traffic Management (STM) and is currently involved in a study regarding STM standardization and the impact assessment regarding a potential EU Space Law. Danny is also active in the geospatial and Earth Observation standardization world, including the Open Geospatial Consortium where he is one of the charter members for the Space Standards domain working group (DWG)
