Juan Tomás Hernani is CEO and cofounder of SATLANTIS, and president of YEESS, the European association of space SMEs.
He was former state secretary for innovation in the Spanish government and president of CDTI, the acting Spanish space agency.
He is professor of innovation management at the Warrington School of Economics at the University of Florida, coordinator board member of independent participants at DOMINION ( a listed industrial services & green energy company with over 1 billion turnover), board member at EGILE ( an aerospace mechanical supplier SME)
He was secretary general of the European Spallation Neutron Source in Lund.
He was founder and CEO of KEON, a digital documents multinational invested by IBM, BBVA and IBERDROLA, finally acquired by INDRA. He was also Director General of ISABEL, a leading canned fish industry in Latin America with over 3000 people.
