Ricardo Campo Cascallana is a Program Manager at the CEDEX Rail Interoperability Lab with more than ten years of experience in railway signalling. He holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering, graduating from the University of Leon and bachelor’s degree in engineering (Honours) from Coventry University.
He previously worked as ERTMS Engineer in INECO and his is professional journey continued as he assumed the role of Project Manager at CAF Signalling, where he was responsible for overseeing the entire fulfilment lifecycle of the On-board CCS subsystem.
Since 2019, he has actively participated in projects related to the application of innovative technologies for train location based on GNSS as primary source, digitalization, and the implementation of cost-effective communication technologies for regional railway lines.
